North East’s Trades Talent Search Off To Exciting Start
Xcite Media Ltd, the company behind the annual Trades Awards, welcomed just over 70 talented tradesmen at its 2015 awards launch event last night (Wednesday 4th February 2015).
Stewart Milne, Executive Chairman of Stewart Milne Group says: “We are delighted to support these awards. Our skilled trades people are a crucial part of our business and with significant growth in house building, it’s a great time to have a trade. We’re currently recruiting for over 200 skilled trades so there are plenty of opportunities. Tradespeople are highly skilled and highly valued by us. They have a critical role to play as our group prepares to significantly increase in size. Recognising them in this way is an honour.”
Ian MacIntosh, Deacon of the Fleshers from the Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen adds: “The Seven Incorporated Trades of Aberdeen have played a major part in shaping the city of Aberdeen with records dating back to the 11thCentury. As a Trades organisation we are keen to work with modern day trades and see a strong partnership with the Trades Awards team and the current trades associated.
“While the Trades association dates back hundreds of years, we are very much keen to see engagement with the modern trades industry as something that will allow this historic association to continue for hundreds more.”
If you missed the event and would like to find out more information on the awards and how to enter contact Lucy Alphonse on 01224 626000 or email Xcite.
