Trades Awards 2022 Winners Announced

We were thrilled to join the construction industry organisations and individuals in celebrating on Friday evening (28th October) as the winners of the 2022 Trades Awards were announced.

We all gathered at Ardoe House in Aberdeen, commemorating the 10th anniversary of this annual awards ceremony. It was a fantastic evening, with 370 attendees who came together to honour and celebrate the achievements of our peers.

We were incredibly proud to have MND Scotland as the charity beneficiary for this event. Together, we managed to raise over £5,000 on that memorable evening.

As the organisers of the Trades Awards, our team at Mearns & Gill, a local creative marketing agency, launched Trades Awards in 2012 to recognise and reward the remarkable individuals, teams, and businesses within the North East construction industry.

This year, in our tenth edition, we invited applications from businesses across all disciplines within construction. We welcomed submissions from sole traders all the way up to national construction companies with a head office in the North East. It gives us immense pleasure to mention that Stewart Milne Group returned as the main award sponsor for the 8th consecutive year, and we were grateful for the continued support of W M Donald, our supporting sponsor for the past 6 years.
